Shannon Harbour Canal Boat Rally
June 15th – 17th 2012

Our Upcoming Rally will be held on Friday 15, Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 June. Our Commodore’s boat for this years rally is the Rambler and our rally will be opened by Dick Warner.

The series which was aired last year about the Rambler’s journey down the Royal Canal will be screened in the meeting rooms and there will be lots of opportunity to have a closer look at this lovely boat (providing we can get some water on the Royal Canal to bring her down).

The events this year will start on the Friday night with a drinks reception at 7pm in the meeting rooms sponsored by Flynn’s supermarket Banagher. On Saturday we have our official opening followed by the usual fun and games and finishing with the annual barbecue. On Sunday we will have a morning service along by the harbour followed by fun and games for the kids at the sports day and finishing with the kids talent show which was definitely one of the highlights of last years rally. We would like to thank all the boats that turn up to the event each year and welcome any new boats that want to join into festivities we look forward to seeing you all there.
